Here we announce the 2026 NVP Spring Meeting, which will be organized in collaboration with the Belgian Society for Parasitology and Protistology (BSPP).

Location: University of Antwerp, the stadscampus (further details will follow).

 

Provisional Schedule:

Wednesday, May 20

Start: 17:00

Boehringer Ingelheim Award for Parasitological Research lecture

Networking drinks and (light) food.

Thursday, May 21

Start: 09:00

Full-day scientific program including 2 international key-note speakers, a lunch- poster session, members meeting, best young presenter award.

Closing around 17:00

 

Registration Fee:

Only Wednesday the 20th of May - €20

Only Thursday the 21th of May - €45

Both the 20th and the 21th of May - €60

Abstract submission will open early March 2026 (deadline April 9th).

We strongly encourage PhD candidates and Post-Docs to submit their research and participate actively.

 

Young Dutch parasitologists will have the opportunity to apply for a €200 NVP grant to cover travel and accommodation expenses. Further details regarding the eligibility criteria for this grant will be provided in early March.
